Christina Lewis Vizcarrondo
Christina Lewis Vizcarrondo is an artist in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She blends mysticism, nature, and new technologies like augmented reality to create unique art experiences. Her work, often bordering on surrealism, plays with the viewers  perception by mixing figures with unclear foregrounds, backgrounds, and varying scales of flora. While she explores AR, VR, and cutting- edge tech, she stays deeply connected to traditional oil painting. Gold, a recurring element in her art, symbolizes divine feminine energy. Her work bridges the past and future, always pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
CARLOS DÁVILA RINALDI
Carlos Davila Rinaldi is a mid-career painter and sculptor presently living and working in Puerto Rico. Over the years as an abstract artist his work has been exhibited in Puerto Rico, U.S. and abroad; having a prominent presence as one of the island’s most prolific creators. In the early 90’s he began a series of parallel works that were figurative, with deep social concerns. These works feed off the island’s social political arena where Davila Rinaldi basically ridicules the current happenings and island situation.  Though the abstract work continues to be at the forefront of his production these sporadic series of works that are full of sarcasm and dark humor have provoked in depth conversations among the spectator that expose different sides of the issues portrayed. In the artist’s words… “These works have allowed me to feel I have a say in the matter. I’m able to rant, condemn and make fun of some serious issues we face on the island then go on my merry way.”
