The Lost Abbey & Port Brewing Co. Takeover

The Lost Abbey Brewing Company is a brewery in San Marcos, run by Director of Brewery Operations Tomme Arthur. The Lost Abbey specializes in producing Belgian-inspired beers, barrel-aged beers, and sours. The Lost Abbey is co-located with Port Brewing Company in a facility that previously housed Stone Brewing Co.

We Will Proudly Serve:

Lost AbbeyAngel’s Share

This striking Strong Ale is brewed with copious amounts of Caramel malt to emphasize the vanilla and oak flavors found in freshly emptied bourbon or brandy barrels. The beer spends a year in oak before it is packaged for release. The beer is 12.5% ABV and is available in 375ml bottles and on draft at inspired locations.

Lost Abbey Red Barn Saison

Be it a river, a brook or a stream, there is something so incredibly soothing about the sound of water moving peacefully with the land it cuts through. You stop and watch as fish of all sizes dart in and out from the banks foraging for food. SMACK, a small trout plucks another water bug from the surface causing the rest of the insects lounging in the placid pools to take flight..

Lost Abbey 10 Commandments

A stronger version of our Lost and Found Abbey Ale brewed to a more contemplative alcohol content. Massive in every stretch of the brewing way possible this is the sort of beer that will remind a beer drinker who considers themselves a saint that even saints stray as sinners from time to time.

Hop Concept Lemon & Grassy DIPA

A Summer IPA features tangy, floral hops on the nose with aromas of fresh-cut grass and lemon peel. On first sip, tangelo and lemon zest burst through with emerging hints of spice from the hops, all balanced by a faint caramel malt backbone.

Port Bourbon Santa

Our Bourbon barrel-aged version of Santa’s Little Helper, this Imperial Stout begins the journey with flavors of sweet Bourbon and oak, continues with hints of nutty dark chocolate and malt and finishes with a smoky coffee finish. A perfect beer to leave for the Jolly Old Fat Man instead of milk and cookie

Port Gift of the Magi

Gold in color and bittered with the bark of Frankincense, we have even used the smallest amount of Myrrh which is an herb that has roots in ancient winemaking as well.

Port Hop 15

A profound hop experience. A Double IPA like no other, Hop-15 was originally brewed to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Pizza Port in 2002. We thoughtfully designed Hop-15 to be an explosion of Lupulin resulting in a truly memorable hop experience with every sip.

Port Wipeout IPA

Brewed to celebrate anyone and everyone who has ever paddled into the best wave of the day only to blow it and Wipeout in a blaze of glory. Our version of a West Coast IPA brewed with a measure of heavy handed San Diego dry hopping.
